Hey guys! I got this MySpace in November, and completely forgot about it till I checked my mail that I never check and found and friend request for it. I've been checking it out more and I love it! I don't think I'll go back to Xanga actually... kinda sad...  but anyways...

Nick came over today. We stayed in the house for awhile but then my sisters drove us nuts, so we went on a walk. We walked down to the river/creek in the lower field and we about froze. That wind would not stop blowing! Trying to stay warm was fun, though. lol. So after about an hour we started walking again and noticed that the field across the road from us was on fire... lots of smoke everywhere... I dunno how we didn't notice it sooner. We decided to walk on up to the house and see what was going on then. Turns out the neighbors had been shooting rockets and set their field on fire. It was reeeally burning! It kept spreading, too. Dad called the Fire Dept, got a shovel, and went up to help. The Fire Dept. came and managed to put it out after awhile.

Later, I took Nick home and we jumped on the trampoline for about half an hour. It was really fun! I haven't done that in years. lol. I laid down on it a few times, and when I sat up my hair was sticking out in all directions (static). It was pretty funny. lol. I said we should do that everyday after school. We'll see.... lol

Tomorrow Shan and I are going to the Church in Parkersburg. Then I'm assuming that we will go to Panera (of course~! lol). After that, we plan on coming back here to ride Sunny and play with Seth (my 7-month-old nephew). She wants to go back to the church at 5 or so to see the girl who used to play Ellie Mae Calmpet (sp?) on The Beverly Hillbillies. I don't know if I'll be allowed, but it would sure be interesting! I want an autograph. lol.

Well, I'm gonna go mess around on this some more. I'm looking on www.createblog.com (love it!) for another layout. You guys should check it out.

Hey guys! Long time no update... very long time no update... I am searching the net for prom stuff though and I felt so compelled to update... so here I am.

I am so excited about prom!!! I found a dress, and it looks like I'm getting it. Here are some pics, lemme know what you honestly think (although it is a little late for that actually but still...):

Hehe... I love it... I admit, it is a bit... bright... haha.... But I love rainbows and (most of all!) butterflies!!! How I found a dress so perfect for me, I don't know. lol. I just know that if I wore this dress to prom, it would have to be a fun time, dontcha think? lol. Now I'm looking for some butterfly shoes and they have to be really awesome because this dress is mid-calf. This year's prom will be fun, next year I'll do the stunningly gorgeous thing.

Shan got her dress and I tried it on and we took pics last weekend. I think it was last weekend.... ? Yea, it was, cuz we went to church the next day. Sheesh, I've spent the night there alot lately.

I am not even going to try to attempt to fill ya all in on what has happened since my  last post- it would be nearly impossible. I'll let Shan attempt it. lol. Right now she and Chris are probably at the movies. We were all going to double-date but Nick is still not allowed to go anywhere until tomorrow because I got him home half an hour late last Saturday from my house. We were down at the river here... for an hour and a half... kinda lost track of time. haha. But, yea, hopefully his Dad will give in and let him go to The Crib tonight. I'm going (pretty sure, gotta ask Dad still... better get to that.... Oi.), and Shan  is going. I need to call Sarah M. soon and see if she  is or not. Btw, go to her xanga and comment her or she is shutting it down soon.

Tomorrow I'm going over to Nick's house. He got Walk the Line yesterday... I can't wait to watch it! I love that movie! And we're gonna look at his pictures from when he was a kid. Omg he was so adorable! You should see them. hehe.

Yesterday he and I spontaneously stopped at the Dairyette after school and got twists in cups with sprinkles. Yum. lol. It was so nice out that we ate outside. It's so nice today too! I love warm weather! Tomorrow it's supposed to be like 75`! I cannot wait till summer... here is proof: I have already bought 3 pairs of bikini's this year. lol. I can't wait to try 'em out!

Hmm... so this is hard to update.  Lets see... what all have we done since the last update.  I'll go from Friday.  This will be repetitive if you read my site just a warning... lol. 

Friday:  I worked till 9 then went to the Crib to pick up Kayla and hang out for a while. I had to borrow kayla's clothes so I didn't smell like Little Caesars... yuck! lol.  And we had a blast.  Kayla and I tried to steal the bubblas but we didn't win.. lol.  We were laughing so hard, we had to have gained some stomach muscles I'm tellin ya!  Tons of fun!  Then Kayla and I headed to my house and went on a secret adventure on the way there.  It was a scary one! lol.  And once we got to my house we watched a hilarious/sad/touching movie called Walking Across Egypt it's one of my favorites!  And we hit the bed at about 2:30. 

Saturday:  We woke up at 8:00 and went to Panera bread.  Mmmm Mmmm.  My favorite place to eat.  We had absolutely delicious food there and pumped some John on the way home.  Then we headed to practice from noon-2:00 and went our seperate ways.  I went to work and Kayla hung out with Nicky boy watching movies. 

Sunday:  Met Kayla at TP and we went to the prom meeting at the Brooks.  We cut a bunch of ribbon and pigged out while there.  It actually was a pretty good time.  After that we went to Kayla's house and I got to ride her beautiful horse Sunny!!  Her mom came out and got everything together for us and we got to ride for a while.  It was very very cold but it was a lot of fun.  I've always wanted to ride a horse and I'm really glad I got to do it with Kayla!  After the horseback riding adventure we headed to faith -n- motion practice, the final one before the performance.  The perf. went great, I dont think anybody messed up so that's good!  I was really proud of Kori went she did her lift, it took a lot of ballance! lol 

Monday:  I had to work after school and Kayla had a job interview.  I hear it went very well and I"m so proud of her!  Apparently her "beautiful smile" helped get her the job.  Can I get a round of applause for Kayla's beautiful smile? hahah... oooh... aaaah! 

Tuesday:  Kayla and I "mingalad" (inside joke) all morning and had lots of fun with that.  We had TI at lunch and discussed plans for the dance.  Kayla and I will have to go shopping for prizes some time... that should be fun!  Can't wait for the dance.  Better wear green or we'll pinch ya! hehe  neways, we stayed after school for a few to get a sign language book because we are starting to find it really interesting and are gonna do some studyin up on it.. lol. 

Tomorrow:  We're staying after school to finish up our english reports, then going to faith -n- motion practice and then church for me and I'm not sure if Kay will stay for it or not. 

The day after tomorrow:  Great movie huh?  I work and dunno about Kayla's plans.. and same for the day after the day after tomorrow.    There ya have it.. my first update.  Much love,

Yesterday was a blast.  I picked up Kayla and we went shopping at Old Navy and wonderful Wal*mart.  And on the way back we stopped at (edited by Kayla:)Panera Bread.... wow.. for those of you who dont know, bread is my favorite food ever..lol.. so it was like paradise!  Kayla and I were singing "we're in heaven"  Ya know that song... love is all that I need, and I found it there in your arms.. lol, yeah that one!  But there was some kinda bread mixer or something on making noise... well it went off and Kayla quit singin but I was still goin at it.  It was pretty funny, people were looking at me but I just kept going.  It embarrassed poor Kayla though and she smacked me.  But anyway, lol.. then we picked up Nick and I took them home and went to work.  Work was pretty fun, I got a foil engagement ring with a giant foil diamond... lol... how thoughtful.  And that was pretty much my day.         Kayla wasn't at school today... it made a lot of the day boring.  lol.. missed ya!  I just got off the phone with her and she's feeling better just so ya know.    Today was a really fun day, I was in a really good mood and I dont really know why.  I tought some of the girls some interesting sign language.. hahah, that entertained us for study hall!  We examined yucky dead giant grasshoppers in biology... but it was fun, I like this disecting stuff.. weird huh?  lol        I might go to a movie tonight, but again I'm not sure.  Chris hasn't called yet so I guess I"ll find out later.    Have a great night!!  Much love, -Shannan Marrie P.S... Phew!

This xanga is finally ready enough for some real posting! I've been working on it all day. I did have it so that words changed to cooler words and it was really awesome, but now for some reason it isn't working. If things are different please lemme know.

Edit: Yay! I fixed it! So, nevermind that paragraph... lol

Monday, Shan, Nick & I stayed after school with Kori and Marie so that Shan & I could help the little girls with their hair and makeup for their T.I. V-Day dance. Linsee and Kyle G. ended up staying, too. OMG, that Jr. High dance was a BLAST! We ended up staying and dancing with the kids. It inspired us to have a St. Patrick's Day Dance (March 17, Friday, 7-11 we think). It's gonna be super-casual, free admission, we're gonna have aking and queen (they get a box of Lucky Charms), we'll have green pins of some sort for everyone in case you didn't wear green and don't wanna be pinched, hula-hoop contests, limbo, and who knows what else! We're probably gonna get Rockin' Reggie, too. I had forgotten how much fun he is! lol. Oh boy, this should be fun. We still have afew meetings about it (T.I.). I hope everyone comes!

Valentine's Day was great! I got & gave a bunch of valentines, plus Nick got me a red long-stemmed rose, a Hallmark lion that is so *adorable* and purrrrrs, and some chocolate truffles that are *omg* so good! I got & made some stuff for him & set it up in his locker. Plus, me and some girls did something kinda for the whole school which was sorta fun.

After school Tuesday, Shan, Sarah M., Air-Mart (hehe), and Nick & I went to Cici's for some pizza. Omg it was SO fun!! Afterward, we went over to Pet Land for a bit. Some funny things that happened: Sarah got sick b/c of dirty plates, Sarah likes tomatoes in her water.. LOL, Aaron likes peppers in his ("I wish I had a drink like yours, Aaron..." .. "I know, doesn't everybody?" LOL), Nick ate like 15 jalapeno pepper slices ate once, mice are hilarious when they run on wheels together, and fat fish can talk. OMG... "good times, good times." We um... ended up kinda lost (again! haha) and I ended up half an hour late... so, I was grounded from driving for 1 week and couldn't go anywhere for 4 days. Back on the bus I went...

Thursday was mine & Nick's 2-month! Yanno, this has like seriously been the best 2 months of my life probably... I have an awesome best friend, wonderful boyfriend, got a new car, had perfect attendance, all A's and B's, improved my Algebra, got my knees feelin' better w/some steroid injections (yeea bay-bee!)... it has just been GREAT. *happy sigh*

Here is something some of you might not know b/c I haven't updated: I got a new car! It's a '96 Buick Regal Custom, 4-door, and it is red... I love it! It'll look alot cooler when I get a spoiler on it. Whenever that may be... lol. I need a job still. I have applications out.. But for now, if anyone needs a babysitter, let them know about me. I've babysat boys and girls from 4 months to 12 years. So, yea... lol.

Well, Shan just called and we're gonna go to P-burg. My brother and his family are coming over for dinner tonight and I'm really really hoping that Nick can come, too.. we'll see.
